I Took MaryRuth's Liquid Multivitamins for a Month - Here’s How It Went

I didn’t go looking for a new multivitamin. I just wanted something I’d actually take.

I’ve tried plenty over the years. Most start well and then get forgotten about.

Usually, it’s the tablets. Or the routine. Or just life getting in the way.

So, I decided to try a liquid multivitamin - MaryRuth’s - for a month and see if that one change made any real difference.

For context, I already take omega-3 and magnesium pretty consistently. I suffer with migraines, and I’m fairly active, so those are non-negotiables for me.

I wasn’t looking for a complete overhaul. I just wanted something simple that would help me along as I age.

What are MaryRuth liquid multivitamins?

MaryRuth’s is a liquid multivitamin, rather than a tablet or capsule.

That’s the key difference.

Instead of swallowing pills, you take it as a liquid. It sounds small, but in practice it makes it much easier to stay consistent. I just took it in the morning just before breakfast.

Liquid multivitamins like this tend to suit people who don’t get on well with tablets or just want something simpler to take every day.

First impressions

The liquid format stands out straight away. It’s quick. No water needed. No hesitation. You can just store it in the fridge.

Compared to traditional tablet multivitamins like Centrum, it feels much easier to fit into my normal morning routine.

Taste-wise, it’s fine. It’s a raspberry flavour but stronger. Not unpleasant. I got used to it pretty quickly.

Week 1–2: building the habit

This is usually where I fall off with supplements.

But this time, I didn’t.

Because it was so easy to take, it just became part of the morning without much effort.

There weren’t any noticeable changes at this point, which is what I’d expect. It was more about taking it consistently.

Week 3–4: what I noticed

In terms of how I felt, the changes were subtle.

My energy felt a bit more steady, especially on busier, stressful days. Nothing dramatic, but enough to notice.

One thing that stood out was that I didn’t pick up the spring cold that went around the office.

That’s obviously anecdotal, but it did make me pause and take notice. Oh, and let everyone else know they should be taking it too!

What I liked

  • Genuinely easy to take every day
  • No tablets, which makes a bigger difference than you’d think
  • Fits into a busy routine without needing effort
  • Feels like something you can stick with long-term

What I didn’t love

  • The bottle’s big, so difficult to travel with it
  • If you prefer capsules, it might not suit you

Who I think it’s best for

From both my experience and what we see with our customers, it tends to work well if:

  • You don’t like tablets
  • You’ve struggled to stay consistent with supplements
  • You want something simple that fits into a busy day
  • You’re already doing a few things for your health and want to make sure you’re covering all bases

So, are MaryRuth multivitamins worth it?

For me, yes - mainly because I actually stayed consistent with it. I’ve now gone from the Raspberry Multivitamin to the Women’s Liquid Liposomal Multivitamin from MaryRuth’s, which comes in a vanilla peach variety – it's delicious!

That’s the biggest difference.

I’ve taken other multivitamins before, but not regularly enough for it to matter. This just fits more easily into everyday life.

And over time, that consistency is what makes the real difference.

Final thoughts

I didn’t expect this to be a dramatic change, and except for not getting ill, it wasn’t a massive difference. But these are really easy to take, and I found them easy to stick with. And for me, that’s what matters.
